This list of gastropods described in is a list of new taxa of snails and slugs of every kind that have been described (following the rules of the ICZN) during the year The list only includes taxa at the rank of genus or changes in taxonomy above the level of genus, see Changes in the taxonomy of gastropods since Švagrovský, J., Gastropoda, Prosobranchia. Měkkýší fauna (Gastropoda, Bivalvia) z lokality Mušlov (vídeňská pánev) The Mušlov locality is situated km ESE from the town of Mikulov and it is a part of the Vienna Basin. On the locality a profile rich in shallow-water middle Miocene (Badenian) fauna was : Tomáš Turek, Šárka Hladilová. The live molluscs were collected from a tidal flat situated along the Odisha coast at Chandipur (21°27′″N, 87°03′″E). This area is known for its high molluscan biodiversity characterized by 42 genera and 56 species of gastropods and bivalves (Rao et al., ).Two major naticid genera, Polinices (Montfort, ) and Natica (Scopoli, ) dominate this tidal flat (Mondal et Cited by:

The assemblage of the asteroid remains from the Korytnica Basin (Middle Miocene; Holy Cross Mountains, Central Poland) contains ossicles belonging to the orders Paxillosida and Valvatida. The genius Astropecten is represented by four species: Asteropecten granulatus WIENBERG RASMUSSEN, Astropecten sp. A, Astropecten sp. B and Astropecten sp. C.

The composition of the gastropod fauna was often massively influenced by immigrants from the Mediterranean-Atlantic Region rather than by local evolution(MANDidet al. Baluk, W. Lower Tortonian chitons from the Korytnica Clays, southern slopes of the Holy Cross Mts.

found in the Lower Tortonian PLeurotoma clays at Korytnica (southern slopes of the Holy Cross Mountains, Central Poland) are described.

The presented report is the third part of the monograph of the rich assemblage of gastropods occurring in the so-called Pleurotoma Clays of Middle Miocene (Badenian) age, exposed in the environs of Korytnica in the Holy Cross Mountains, Central Poland.

It contains characteristics of 90 prosobranch species of the nine families: Nassariidae, Olividae, Mitridae, Vasidae, Volutidae, Cancellariidae, Marginellidae.

The assignment of tiny valvatiform gastropods from the Early Meotian and Early Chokrakian to Skenea Fleming,a genus of marine gastropods of the superfamily Trochoidea is substantiated. It is emphasized that Miocene Skenea belongs to an ecosystem connected with bryozoan bioherm by: 1.
